This hold will typically be applied before tuition and fees are due for the quarter and will remain on your account until financial aid has been applied. We add this hold, also known as a “positive service indicator” to your account in order to avoid being dropped from your classes due to non-payment. If you see the “Tuition Deferred-Possible FA” or “Financial Aid Award Pending” hold on your account, that means you may have financial aid that will soon be applied to your account.
